You might not remember me but I was your thesis advisee back in college. I'm a batch younger than you so you might still have some recollection.... I enjoyed reading this particular blog, which incidentally I stumbled upon as I was killing time in the office. I am amused myself with the shift from shoes to bedroom slippers and have constantly wondered who we're supposed to impress with pricey shoes if we're always in our cubicles (we don't get to leave the office like teachers).
